Our Values
Fellowship of Christian Leaders is a community united under the lordship of Jesus Christ, committed to leading with integrity, humility, and truth.
Grounded in the authority of Scripture and the historic Apostles' Creed, we affirm the following core values:
1. Christ-Centered Leadership
We believe that Jesus Christ is the ultimate example of servant leadership. As leaders, we strive to follow His model - leading not for power, but through humility, sacrifice, and love.
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve…” – Mark 10:45
2. Authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and the final authority for faith and practice.
Every leadership decision we make must be guided by Scripture.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” – 2 Timothy 3:16
3. Integrity and Accountability
We pursue integrity in every area of life and leadership. We commit to honesty, moral courage, and transparency, recognizing we are stewards of both influence and responsibility.
“The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.” – Proverbs 11:3
4. The Power of the Gospel
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
Our leadership is not simply practical, it is spiritual, shaped by the transforming power of the Gospel.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel… it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.” – Romans 1:16
5. Commitment to the Church
We value the local and global Church as the Body of Christ. We serve, support, and strengthen the Church as God’s primary instrument for advancing His kingdom.
“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” – 1 Corinthians 12:27
6. Discipleship and Multiplication
We are called to make disciples, not just decisions. We train, mentor, and raise up leaders who will carry the Gospel with boldness and faithfulness to future generations.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” – Matthew 28:19
7. Unity in Essential Beliefs
While allowing freedom in non-essentials, we stand united on the foundational truths of the Apostles’ Creed:
We believe in God the Father Almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
Born of the virgin Mary,
Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
Was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day He rose again.
He ascended into heaven,
And is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
From there He will come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit,
The holy Christian Church,
The communion of saints,
The forgiveness of sins,
The resurrection of the body,
And the life everlasting. Amen.
